Some may feel that the mind and the spirit are not distinguishable. For our purposes here, we will define the spirit as the essence of you or your soul for those comfortable with that terminology. Who you are is defined by your beliefs which impact your thoughts (the mind), which impacts your actions (the body), which leads to your results (success, happiness, ... or not). Taking quiet time (prayer, meditation, ...) to clear your mind and search your soul and evaluate your beliefs can be important.
